Wherever you drive, Salty can now shop, place, and service your coverage. Here's what nationwide licensing means for you.
As of this month, Salty is a licensed insurance producer in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
That sentence took a lot of paperwork. Insurance is regulated state by state, and each state has its own licensing requirements, entity rules, and disclosures. We did the slow, unglamorous work because it is the only honest way to make a nationwide promise.
What this means in practice
- Wherever you live, Salty can act for you. Shopping, binding, and servicing coverage requires a license in your state. We now hold all of them.
- Moving states no longer breaks the promise. Relocating is exactly the kind of life change where coverage should be re-checked. Now the re-check travels with you.
- License information stays one click away. Every page of this site links to license details, including state license numbers and the regulatory entity in each state. In New York, we operate as Ei Insurance Agency, LLC.
The boring part, said plainly
A license does not make anyone trustworthy by itself. It makes us accountable: to state regulators, to carrier partners, and to you. We think accountability is a feature.
